We have lots of jobs that are part-time — for instance, week-day mornings and occasional jobs as needed. Volunteers who can stock shelves, sort donations, assist teacher shoppers with the check-in and check-out process and help keep our parking lot flowing.

Plus — we always need helpful hands that can provide general assistance in just about anything — general store administration, direct mail campaigns, marketing, fund raising support, bookkeeping and picking up local donations.

Finally — we always need individuals with capabilities in fund raising, marketing, PR, speakers bureau, warehouse management, store management, business liaison, school liaison and special events planning and coordination.

As you can see — there are a number of ways you can lend a hand to Treasures 4 Teachers. We look forward to having you join our family of volunteers!

Time

Volunteers are the heart and soul of Treasures 4 Teachers. It takes a team of dedicated volunteers to operate such a dynamic and vibrant program. Opportunities abound for individuals or groups, whether it is an on-going volunteer commitment or a one-time group project. All ages are welcome!

  • individuals
  • teachers
  • parents
  • students (fulfill community service hours)
  • retired executives
  • corporate partners

Many of our volunteers are retired teachers who are glad to “give back to education,” while some are family and friends who come because of their interest in helping students.

Supply Drives

One of the most common ways Treasures 4 Teachers receives supplies for our store is through Supply Drives we coordinate with local businesses and other organizations.

Let’s face it!! Organizations regularly create vast quantities of obsolete, surplus and unwanted supplies and materials. It could be boxes of letterhead paper that has the old address of your old offices, or overruns of materials and supplies from your manufacturing processes. It might be surplus goods from trade shows you gave or attended.

Let coordinators and volunteers from Treasures 4 Teachers visit your offices and warehouses and rid you of all of those surplus supplies, all tax deductible!!

It’s simple — it’s fast — and it’s tax-deductible! We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Tax ID #: 01-0725431

Create a positive, community-oriented event for your employees while ridding your organization of unwanted business and office supplies and materials. You’ll receive a tax deduction and we’ll receive valuable supplies that AZ teachers need in their classrooms every day.
