Over half of the children in our community cannot afford lunch - much less basic school supplies - leaving them one step behind their peers each day
Teachers spend an average of $500 - $1,200 per year to buy basic school supplies for their students
Public school supply budgets have systematically been slashed year after year - Arizona schools now spend less than 5c each day on supplies per student
Businesses generate more than 50% of waste and need a positive outlet for their surplus products and supplies

OUR SOLUTION

Treasures 4 Teachers bridges the gap between the great need of school children and resources available in the business community. Our mission is to "ensure that children and classrooms in Arizona have the basic tools for learning by transferring the community's surplus supplies and merchandise into the hands of educators and children, regardless of economic status."

OUR REPORT CARD

One of our sister organizations and the model from which Treasures 4 Teachers is built, has been in existence since 1997. Here is their report card:
